We recommend the Extended version for the Pro Hunter or for other models in this series if you want extra eye relief as the Extended version places the scope about 1 inch closer to the muzzle as compared to the non-extended version.

The stainless steel base shown in the photo is the non-extended version.  The blued base shown in the other photo is the extended version.
